HELL YES. Bring on the weirdness! Thank you for reading, Becky, it's lovely to feel this encouragement, especially when experimenting with something new 💕
Thank you for reading, and for these kind words! 💕
The dazzling unknown exactly sounds exciting (rather than terrifying) when you put it like that... it was a very affirming experience and a good reminder of the possibilities of leaning into that unknown!
Thanks so much, Kathryn - me too! I am so grateful for my chosen creative family, we really do empower and support each other in ways that haven't always felt possible at earlier times in my life, I'm very glad of the access to it now! 💕
When I was in my late twenties and went through a very bad depression, I realized that I hadn't cultivated the kind of community and support system that I really wanted. I was lucky that I did have a few great people who really pulled me through that time and I realized that it was critical for me to build that. It took me a long time to do it but I am so grateful for the chosen family I have around me as well.
That image is so powerful, Jane. I am so happy you had such a beautiful, transformative experience. Here’s to be weirder, bolder and braver! 🖤

An experimental witchcraft sound art band! Queer failure for the win, Jane! This sounds magical and powerful and fucking amazing.
Thank you so much Dana! It truly was all those things and just what my heart needed that night. Thank you for reading and your kind words 💖
I am so proud of you, Jane. This sounds terrifying, beautiful and euphoric!
Your vulnerability is truly powerful and electric.
I hope you keep stepping into the dazzling unknown.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

So so glad that you have the supportive creative community that you have here to allow you to grow and experiment in these ways

I'm so pleased you have that now, and that you had the few good ones there when you needed them back then too!
